HOLIDAY BENEFIT DRIVE

for the family of

MELANIE BRANDT

@ Quail Ridge Horseshoe Club

(Daughter of Darryl and Pam Gettinger)

Dates: November 15th - December 20th
Non-perishable food items, gas cards, restaurants, monetary gifts, etc.

During our 2010 MO State Horseshoe Tournament, Darryl and Pam Gettinger got an emergency phone call saying that Melanie was taken to the hospital and they were needed at home. Melanie, 33 years old, was severely burned (43% of her body) when an aerosol spray can exploded in a burning barrel. Melanie has been released from the hospital, but is still undergoing surgeries for skin grafting and extensive physical therapy. Melanie’s husband, Darin, thanks the good Lord that her life was spared, but they still have a long road ahead of them for her complete recovery. They do have insurance, but it doesn’t cover items like gas, food, and other items necessary for them to get through these difficult times. The Brandts have 3 children, Chloe - age 6, Hunter - age 7, and Alexander - age 15.

Let’s get into the holiday spirit by opening up our hearts and wallets and put some needed sunshine back into their lives. Your donations and contributions will be greatly appreciated.

You can send your contributions to Jeanette Claas, 39 Ayrshire Road, St. Charles, MO 63303.
